When I was in the early stages of recovery, I didn't know how I was going to build my life again. Rehabilitation was just the first step - rent, education, job training - it all seemed impossible. But I learned that there are government grants to help recovering addicts. It's not charity - it's a second chance. If you're in the same boat, check out https://genesishouse.net/blog/government-grants-for-recovering-addicts/. Don't let money stop your recovery.

I remember feeling overwhelmed too and moments like that made me look for stories of support around me. In the middle of my own struggles I found it helpful to read about groups that focus on kids and how they get through tough situations. Somewhere in that search I learned about a children’s charity that offers practical help for families and that reminder kept me moving forward because support really can come from many places.
