What Do You Think About Free Undress AI Tools?
Hey everyone, I stumbled upon these so-called “free undress AI” tools that claim to generate fake nude images of people using just a regular photo, often with just a face or full body clothed picture. I wasn’t even looking for this, but a link popped up in a thread I was following about AI image manipulation, and I got curious. From what I understand, these tools use deep learning models trained to "predict" what's under the clothing, and it’s getting scarily realistic, at least from some of the examples people are sharing.
What's weird is how easy they are to access — no payment, no registration, and they’re not really on the dark web or anything like that. They're just... floating around. I’m not saying I support them, but I’m genuinely interested in hearing what others think about this, especially from a technical and ethical standpoint. Do you think this is just another passing internet trend or something bigger that’s going to need real regulation soon?

But there's a weird disconnect here. Just because something is technically impressive doesn’t mean it should be used casually. It feels like the people using these tools aren't really thinking about the person in the original photo — especially if that person never gave permission. It’s one thing to use AI to remove backgrounds or colorize old photos, but this is way more personal. And yeah, I noticed how there’s almost no barrier to access — it’s like the wild west out there. I wouldn’t call it a trend either; it feels more like the beginning of something we’re not ready to handle socially or legally.
