Has anyone had experience with both options?

Hey everyone, I’m moving to a new flat next month, and I’m stuck between hiring a Man and Van service or going for a full-service moving company. I don’t have a ton of stuff, but I do have some bulky furniture and quite a few boxes. I also need to be out of my current place in a single day, so efficiency is key. Has anyone had experience with both options? Which one worked better for you, and was it worth the cost difference?

I’ve been in the same situation before! Honestly, the best choice depends on your specific needs. If you’re moving a lot of furniture and don’t want to deal with heavy lifting, a full-service moving company might be the way to go. They handle packing, loading, transport, and even unpacking, but it’s definitely more expensive.

On the other hand, if you’re on a budget and don’t mind doing some of the work yourself, a Man and Van service is a great alternative. They’re more flexible, cheaper, and ideal for smaller moves like yours. I used one last year when I moved across London, and it was smooth sailing. The only thing I’d recommend is labelling your moving boxes properly to make unpacking easier. Trust me, nothing’s worse than digging through a dozen mystery boxes looking for your kettle! If you’re labelling your moving boxes, check out this site—they’ve got some solid options, and you can compare prices easily.

Hope this helps! What’s your moving distance? That could also play a role in deciding.
